Big Book Bash fun!

Well, we did it! 

We had our 'Drop-In Ongoing True/False Shout Out The Answer Quiz' yesterday at the local cafe-our Big Book Bash -Book Week Scotland Event. The Peerie Pantry is a small cafe but it got quite busy for a while as people pitted their wits against Glen's questions and we rousingly great time.

Our written quiz had 1 adult winner with all correct answers, so she was clearly the one to receive one of Glen's 'Think You Know' Desk Calendars and one of my novels. Congratulations to Val Reid- well done getting all 20 correct since there were a few tricky ones.

The written quiz wasn't only for adults, there was a Kids quiz sheet too, where we had 4 happy chilren who received prizes of pencils, drawing aids, puzzle pads etc.


Believe it or not this little girl wasn't the youngest to fill in a quiz sheet- albeit a bit scribbly! My conspirator in this innovative venture- Glen Reid- is sitting behind. He might look a bit serious here but people quizzing him about the answers was difficult since it was quite noisy!  My thanks to Glen for his excellent selections of questions for all quizzes.
