I found your post on the HNS facebook page and immediately checked out your blogspot. I've loved going through your previous blogs. They're truly interesting and will gladly keep coming back for news and updates about your books and your thoughts on historical figures like Agricola! Thank you again!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04664071402954950661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4634172410498697945.post-4664712194984459042020-10-17T13:47:44.982+01:002020-10-17T13:47:44.982+01:00I'm sorry not to be able to contact you direct...I'm sorry not to be able to contact you directly but thank you for visiting, and for your comments. I hope you enjoy reading my Celtic Fervour Series, which is different from most fiction set in the era since the perspective is mostly from the viewpoint of my 'Celtic' Iron age characters, with a little 'Roman' balance coming from my Agricola and a couple of other Roman characters.<br />As to Agricola's death it's definitely an interesting theory. However, considering that Tacitus tells us nothing about what Agricola actually got up during approx. 8 year 'retirement' at his Gallia estates it's hard to know if Agricola continued to be political in some way. I'm very tempted to write a 'spin-off' short story about it, but it would definitely be pure fiction and total speculation. ;-) Nancy Jardine Authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12728672581776531161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4634172410498697945.post-20361418759986135162020-10-17T13:19:49.637+01:002020-10-17T13:19:49.637+01:00This is wonderfully thorough! I too, have an obsession with Agricola and writing historical fiction about his life and the people in it. I would love to read your Celtic Fervor Series about him! Also, I'd love to know your thoughts about whether you believe he died of being poisoned by Emperor Domitianus or not. Thank you again for the fantastic blog! I'm a fan already!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04664071402954950661noreply@blogger.com
